After spending time comparing the vivo V27 Pro with the OnePlus 11R, I’ll likely recommend the OnePlus 11R to users. This is because the OnePlus 11R offers better performance, is cheaper, and has some other extra features that are not available in the vivo V27 Pro. OnePlus 11R offers better performance

The performance of the vivo V27 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G which is a good chipset but still not as good as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G chipset of the OnePlus 11R. The chipset in the OnePlus 11R has faster CPU cores and is equipped with a more powerful GPU.

While I was playing games with both phones, the vivo V27 Pro did very well in most of the games. But sometimes, FPS dropped and the performance of the vivo V27 Pro dropped. Unlike the OnePlus 11R which sustained performance for a longer time and has a higher FPS.

Using the highest graphics settings and gaming settings on Genshin Impact, the performance of the OnePlus 11R was smoother than what I got in the vivo V27 Pro. It’s also important for me to point out that both smartphones became warm after playing games with them for about 35 minutes nonstop.

OnePlus 11R has a brighter display

The vivo V27 Pro has the same display panel (AMOLED), a similar display size (6.7 inches), the same FHD+ resolution (1080p), and the same HDR10+ feature. Both smartphones also have the same 120Hz refresh rate. But, the OnePlus 11R has a brighter display.

The only time I notice a significant difference in the display of both phones was when I took them for use outside (under direct sunlight). I could use both phones but the display/screen of the OnepLus 11R was way brighter. This is because the display has a peak brightness of 1450 nits which.

vivo V27 Pro has a better camera system

Both smartphones have exactly the same rear camera setup. On the rear, both smartphones have a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The difference in the quality of photos and videos from the rear cameras of both phones is basically the same. In video mode, the OnePlus 11R offers better stabilization though. But the major difference in the camera is in the front camera.

OnePlus 11R has a 16MP front camera which is not as good as the 50MP AF front camera of the vivo V27 Pro. The video and photo quality from the front camera of the vivo V27 Pro is better than that of the OnePlus 11R. You can record 4K videos with the front camera of the vivo V27 Pro but you can only record 1080p videos with the front camera of the OnePlus 11R. The OnePlus 11R is a good camera phone but when I compared the camera setup, I prefer the camera setup of the vivo V27 Pro.

vivo V27 Pro looks more Beautiful

For me, I prefer the design of the vivo V27 Pro to the design of the OnePlus 11R. The circular rear camera module on the OnePlus 11R and the rectangular rear camera module with ring LED of the vivo V27 Pro looks good to me. But, this comes down to user preference and you can see the design of both phones from the photos below.

vivo V27 Pro vs OnePlus 11R: Durability

Both phones have the same level of durability. None of the smartphones are certified to be IP68 water and dustproof and both phones are made of a Glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. Although a fall from table height can cause damage to the screen and back panel of both phones, non of the phones had permanent damage when I bent in the middle.

However, bending the OnePlus 11R in the circular module area on the rear showed signs of breaking. So I came to the conclusion that the rear circular module area is the weakest spot of the OnePlus 11R.

OnePlus 11R has a Bigger Battery & Faster Charging

The battery inside the OnePlus 11R is bigger and supports faster wired charging. A 4,600mAh battery is inside the vivo V27 Pro while a 5,000mAh is inside the OnePlus 11R. The OnePlus 11R also supports faster 100W wired fast charging compared to the 66W wired fast charging of the vivo V27 Pro.

Both phones offer long battery life but the battery of the OnePlus 11R lasts longer. From my experience, you’ll get about one hour and thirty minutes more time with the battery of the OnePlus 11R.

vivo V27 Pro vs OnePlus 11R: Software

The vivo V27 Pro boots Funtouch 13 based on Android 13 out of the box while the OnePLus 11R boots OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Both smartphones will get at least two years of software updates. The user experience and navigation on both smartphones are different and both phones give users room for customization.

The vivo V27 Pro and OnePlus 11R are both good smartphones but the OnePlus 11R is better in some ways. The OnePlus 11R is cheaper, has a brighter display, better performance, a bigger battery, faster charging, a longer lasting battery, and offers more RAM. One area where I really love the vivo V27 Pro is the 50MP front camera. Other than that, the OnePlus 11R is a better phone to buy here.
