vivo X Fold 2 promotional images appear online: As the launch of the vivo X Fold 2 gets closer, more details of the phone are appearing online. A promotional image of the vivo X Fold 2 has confirmed some of the key specifications of the vivo X Fold 2 ahead of its launch.

A blogger known as @Dragon II Pro (on Weibo) has shared the alleged promotional material of the foldable phone. This new leak reveals all we need to know about the device including its design and key specifications.

Vivo X Fold 2 expected specifications

The vivo X Fold 2 will have a similar design and display size as its predecessors the vivo X Fold and vivo X Fold+. According to the leaked promotional materials, the Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to have an 8.03-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with 2160 X 1916 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800nits brightness.

The cover screen is a 6.53-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600nits brightness. As per the new leak, the outer and inner screens will be equipped with an ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner. This will make the X Fold 2 the few foldable phones to have an ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner as most have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The promotional poster also shows that the Vivo X Fold 2 would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. It will be coming with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. As with the vivo X90 Pro and X90 Pro+, the foldable phone is expected to feature the Vivo V2 ISP chip that is claimed to offer better imaging and support Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The Vivo X Fold 2 is said to pack a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed through the promotional poster images.

According to previous leaks, the X Fold 2 is expected to come with a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX866 50MP Primary lens and 2x Sony IMX663 12MP lens. As per software, the foldable phone will boot Android 13 out of the box and might get up to three years of software updates.
