Display and Durability

The Honor Magic V when unfolded has a 7.9-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate enabled. The cover display features a 120Hz refresh rate with a size 6.45-inch AMOLED touchscreen. The Honor Magic V foldable device has a smoother cover display than the inner larger display. It should have been vice versa.

On the other hand, vivo X Fold has a slightly bigger display of an 8.03-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED with a 120Hz support. The vivo X Fold has a top-notch display quality than the Honor Magic V.

Camera

The vivo X Fold camera is more versatile and has advanced features. It comes with a 50MP OIS main cam, alongside a 48MP ultra-wide, a 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP OIS telephoto 5x optical zoom. The selfie camera is 16MP and placed on both dot-in displays.

The Honor Magic V camera is good but not as grounded as the X Fold. It brings a 50MP main snapper, 50MP wide, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. While upfront is a 42MP selfie camera placed on both dot-in displays.

These two foldable devices are 5G supported. They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chipset, paired with a similar configuration of 12GB RAM + 256/512 GB storage configuration. There’s no microSD slot available on both devices.
