Vivo X90 global model appears on Geekbench: Vivo launched the vivo X90 series in China in late November 2022 and it was made of three phones: the vivo X90, vivo X90 Pro, and vivo X90 Pro+. According to the rumors, the Chinese phone maker is expected to launch at least one model of the phone globally by January 2023. Ahead of the launch, the global version of the vivo X90 has appeared on Geekbench.
The model that appeared on Geekbench is the vivo X90 Pro with the mode number V2219. According to Geekbench, the vivo X90 Pro managed to score 1376 points in the single-core round and 4327 points in the multi-core segment. The phone will ship with an Octa-Core processor with a 1 + 3 + 4 CPU architecture and a 3.05GHz peak frequency. The phone that appeared on Geekbench has 12GB RAM and boots Android 13 OS out of the box.
Vivo X90 Pro specifications highlights
Since the phone had already launched in China, we already know everything about its specifications. We know the vivo X90 Pro will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 paired with Immortalis G715 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It’ll also have a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout, 20:9 aspect ratio, 452 PPI, 2160Hz PWM, HDR10+, and 300Hz touch sampling rate.
As per the camera, its main camera will be Sony IMX866 50-megapixel camera sensor with an f/1.75 aperture OIS, EIS, and LED flash. The main camera will be supported by a 50-megapixel portrait lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
A 4,870mAh battery will power the vivo X90 Pro with support for 120 wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Available connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The smartphone weighs about 215 grams and is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner, Hi-Res audio, aptX-HD, etc.
So far, only one vivo X90 phone has been listed to be coming to the global market. This is expected as vivo doesn’t usually launch all the models of its phones in the global market. Last year, the company released the vivo X80 Pro to the global market but left the vivo X Note to be a China-exclusive smartphone.
