vivo X90 Pro Plus vs iPhone 14 Pro Max: Display, Design, and Durability
The vivo X90 Pro+ and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max have similar display features but different designs. Both phones have an LTPO OLED panel that can auto-refresh between 1Hz and 120Hz and both supports HDR10+. Even the display size of both phones is similar (6.7 inches for the iPhone and 6.78 inches for the vivo phone).
However, if you look at the pictures of both phones, you’ll see that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a flat front screen and a flat rear panel. In contrast, the vivo X90 Pro+ has a curved front screen and a curved back panel. Another big difference in design is the size of the centered punch hole. The punch hole on the iPhone is way bigger than the one on the vivo phone.
Both smartphones are made of durable materials and both phones are also certified to be water and dustproof. Although the display of both phones is awesome, some people find the big punch hole on the iPhone 14 Pro Max disruptive. And looking at the front screen of both phones, that of the vivo X90 Pro+ looks cleaner.

From the camera comparison table above, you can see that the vivo X90 Pro+ has bigger and more camera sensors than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. The 50.3MP main camera of the vivo phone is a 1-inch type sensor which allows it to take brighter photos than the 48MP main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Another major difference in the cameras of both phones is that the vivo X90 Pro+ has two telephoto lenses, a 64MP periscope lens that can do 4x optical zoom and a 50MP telephoto lens that has gimbal OIS and can do 2x optical zoom. Even when it comes to the ultra-wide lens and front cameras, the vivo X90 Pro+ still has bigger camera sensors than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Another major difference comes in the camera features. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has camera features that are best suited for video recording while the vivo X90 Pro+ has camera features that are best suited for taking photos.
When it comes to night photography, color contrast, sharpness, HDR, etc, the cameras of the iPhone 14 Pro Max are good but those of the vivo X90 Pro+ are better. However, for that extra stability and cinematic filming, the iPhone 14 Pro Max cameras are better than those of the vivo X90 Pro+.
