The Vivo Y72 5G launch in India is scheduled for July 15th and it will be the latest device in the Vivo Y-series. Been a 5G device, this Device might also be making its way into the European market very soon.

But just before the official launch of the device, the specs of the Vivo Y72 5G has surfaced online. According to tipster Yogesh, the Vivo Y72 5G appears to be the rebranded Vivo Y52 T1 that was launched in China. And if this is true, to means this Vivo Y72 will be a little different from the model that debut in Thailand.

Vivo Y72 5G specifications

According to Yogesh, the Vivo Y72 5G is coming with a 6.58-inch FHD+ Halo FullView display with 2408 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC on the Y72 model launched in Thailand.

The phone will run Android 11 OS out of the box along with Funtouch OS UI software. It has 8GB of RAM with an additional virtual 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It also supports storage expansion via microSD.

In the camera department, Vivo Y72 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. The camera features include Pose Master, Face Beauty, and Super Night Mode camera modes.

Up front it uses an 8MP camera for selfies and videos. The handset houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The measurements of Vivo Y72 5G is 164.2 x 75.4 x 8.4mm and weighs about 185grams.

Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

Vivo Y72 5G price (rumoured)

Vivo Y72 5G price in India is said to be around Rs 22,990, $310 for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. But if you live in India, there will be bank offers, such as a flat Rs 1,500 cashback through HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak.

If this phone eventually makes it way to the European market, it might also come with its own perks.
