Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its first 2022 flagship device, Xiaomi 12 tomorrow. We’ve confirmed that the series will be powered by the newly released Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. We’ve also confirmed that it’ll boot MIUI 13 which is Xiaomi’s latest custom skin software.
But, details about the official specs and colors have been scarce (at least until now). A new leak has revealed the specifications and design of the Xiaomi 12 lineup.

Design and color of the Xiaomi 12
According to a leak shared by Evan Blass on Twitter, he revealed the official renders of the Xiaomi 12. The teaser shared by Xiaomi few days back only showed the front of the device. But the new renders shared by Evan Blass showed the full design of the Xiaomi 12.
From the images below, the Xiaomi 12 features a rectangular camera module on the back housing three cameras, and an LED flash. We can also see that the logo of Xiaomi is at the bottom perpendicular to the camera bump.

Evan has also posted a short promotional video of the Xiaomi 12 on Twitter showcasing the phone’s overall design and four colors in action.
Specs of the Xiaomi 12 Pro
In another leak on Weibo also detailed the design and key specifications of the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Just like the regular model, the pro model has similar design, with the same rectangular camera module and a hole-punch display on the front.

Other leaks of the Xiaomi 12 Pro as revealed on Weibo includes: a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support and 120Hz refresh rate. A triple rear camera set up of 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
Upfront, Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to feature a 32MP selfie camera. Xiaomi 12 Pro packs a 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support, up to 10W reverse wireless charging, and 50W fast wireless charging support.

The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash storage, VC liquid cooling system, and stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. The device is expected to be available in at least four colors: Green, Pink, Blue, and Black.
Some other features of the device such as the Surge P1 charging chip, Sony IMX766 and IMX707 main sensors, and an AI-powered video recording feature called CyberFocus has been teased by the company via XiaomiUI.
The unknown about the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro is the price and availability. These details will be available in less than 24 hours from now.
