Display
Mi Mix 4 has a curved 6.67″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The main display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Also, it has an IP53 rating, dust and splash protection. It’s Brightness level can only max 800 nits.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra sports a curved 6.81-inch WQHD+ main display with 1440×3200 pixel resolution. The Mi 11 Ultra also houses a 1.1-inch secondary display placed on the rear panel. The main display has 120Hz refresh rate and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It has IP68 rating, water and dust protection with a max brightness of 1700 nits.
Overall, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has one of the best display quality in the world. It’s brightness and crispiness surpasses that of the Mi Mix 4.
Camera
When it comes to camera comparison, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a great setup. A 108MP OIS main snapper, joined by 8MP periscope telephoto lens + 13MP ultrawide camera.
Upfront is a 20MP selfie camera that is hidden under the panel.
Features of the camera include: PDAF, optical image stabilization, PDAF, 5x optical zoom, Laser AF and can record video in 8k resolution.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G. Paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/512GB storage.
While the Mi 11 Ultra is powered by the standard Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256 or 512GB storage. Both smartphones are 5G enabled.
Software
These two smartphones run Android 11 out of the box skinned with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12.5 software. On both smartphones, at least, 3 years major Android OS update is certain.
Battery
To keep the Mi 11 Ultra running, it has 5,000 mAh battery capacity with 67W fast charge enabled. While Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 packs 4,500 mAh battery capacity with 120W fast charge.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a new feature (an under display camera), but even at that, it is the most affordable of these two. The 8/128GB model is priced $799.
However, as at the time of writing this post, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with 8/256GB model is priced $1,299.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 vs Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra: Conclusion
Mi 11 Ultra is the best smartphone Xiaomi has ever produced yet. It may not have the under display selfie camera. However, when it comes to display, camera and body built, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is simply outstanding.
So if I’m to score both smartphones by percentage. I’ll score the Mi Mix 4 (48%) while Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra gets (52%).
