About Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro is a premium tablet that runs on Android 11 OS and is produced by Xiaomi. It comes in two models: One model has supports for only Wi-Fi while the second model has support for dual 5G connectivity via SIM card.
Both models have similar designs and build materials. But they also have different specifications such as camera and network connectivity. In this article, we’ll be talking about both models.
Chipset, CPU and GPU
The chipset inside the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro (both models) is Snapdragon 870 5G chip. This is a high-end SoC produced by Qualcomm with a really fast CPU and powerful GPU.

The chipset has an octa-core CPU clocked at 3.2 GHz that is accompanied by the Adreno 650 GPU. This chipset can process high graphics and play graphics-intensive games.
Cameras
The Pad 5 Pro Wi-Fi only version comes with a dual rear camera. A 13MP main camera and 5MP depth sensor. The SIM card version also comes with a dual rear camera but has a 50MP main camera and a 5MP depth sensor.
Upfront, both the Wi-Fi only and SIM card models have 8MP selfie cameras. The rear cameras can also record 4k videos at @30fps.

Display and Build
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro (both models) has an 11-inch IPS LCD display, FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. It has bezels around the screen and the front camera is placed at the top bezels.
Its build material is glass front, aluminum back, and aluminum frame. Both versions of the Pad 5 Pro are not water and dust-resistant but have Stylus support (magnetic).
When it comes to durability, the materials are pretty solid. And having support for S PEN (stylus) will enhance the productivity of users.

RAM, Storage and Battery
Pad 5 Pro (both models) comes in three RAM and storage options; 6GB RAM + 128GB, 6GB RAM + 256GB, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options. However, there is no space for storage expansion (no microSD card slot).
The Pad 5 Pro tab is powered by a non-removable 8,600mAh battery with 67W fast charge technology. There is no wireless charge and no reverse charge feature.
Software and Connectivity
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro runs Android 11 out of the box along with MIUI 12.5 software. You can expect at least one year of major software updates for the device.

Games and Apps can be downloaded from Google Play Store and you have access to use all Google Mobile Services. Connectivity is via Wi-Fi and SIM card and the SIM card version support a dual 5G network.
