Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 is now available: Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12 in China and it’s one of the cheapest 5G phones of the year. It starting price for the base model with 4 + 128GB is $219 and the 8 + 256GB model is sold for $319 (details of how to buy are in the table at the bottom of this post).

The Redmi Note 12 has fast charging, features a 48MP main camera, a big battery, nice display features, a good cooling system, and a new Qualcomm 5G chipset inside.

Redmi Note 12 is now available

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 is now available for purchase in China and it has a 6.67-inches FHD+ OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The display has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 4096-level dimming, and a DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Redmi Note 12 also features a 48MP primary camera that is supported by a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP front camera. The 48MP and 8MP can record videos in 1080p resolution. For proper cooling, the phone has a 2,000mm² graphene-based cooling system.

The performance of the Redmi Note 12 is fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 5G chipset and is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can fast charge at 33W making it possible to charge the battery from 0 to 100% in about 65 minutes.
