There have been rumors about the Redmi K50 series but up until now we’ve not heard any specific release date. Well, according to a new poster in China, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K50 gaming edition on February 16th.
The launch event will take start around 7PM local China time (3AM PST). This phone is going one of the phones in the Redmi K50 series that is expected to be released on the said date.

Xiaomi has shared some posters about the event on Weibo. Some of the posters shared by the company revealed the design of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The shoulder triggers can also be spotted from the design and there is two lightning in the camera module next to the triple rear cameras.

The words “Freezing” and “Speediest” is also written on the phone. Xiaomi is teasing the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition as a “cold-blooded flagship” (machine translated from Chinese). But, the company is yet to release details about the specifications of the smartphone.
Even though Xiaomi has not mentioned it, but we also expect the company to release the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+ alongside the Gaming Edition on February 16. This is because the K50 will come in series and we can expect more than on smartphone.
