For the past few years, Samsung and Huawei has been the only major companies producing premium Android tablet devices. But that might just be about to change.

According to new info uncovered in MIUI 12.5 system apps by Xiaomi tipster kacskrz and the XiaomiUI Telegram group, Xiaomi at least three pemium Android tablets powered by Snapdragon 8-series chipsets.

The new info shows a hidden system navigation page for tablets inside MIUI Home alpha build. From the source code, there are three different devices with the code-names, “nabu”, “enuma” and “elish”.

Based on further research from tipster kacskrz, enuma’s model number ends in K81 while elish ends in K81A which means the two devices might be different models of the same device. The K81 (enuma) model also appears to support voice calls which hints it will likely offer LTE or 5G connectivity.

Nabu which is the third device has a model number ending in K82 which hints that it might be an entirely different device.

According to the report, all three tablets is expected to have 2560 x 1600 pixel IPS LCDs panel with 120Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratios. The leaks claim nabu will come with a 10.97-inch diagonal.

The leak also hinted that nabu will be powered by Qualcomm SM8150 platform. And this means it might be powered by a, Snapdragon 855, 855+ or 860 chipset. While the other two tablets are said to have Qualcomm SM8250 platform which means it might Snapdragon 865, 865+ or 870 chipsets.
