ZTE Axon 40 is now confirmed to launch on May 9th, 2022. The most interesting thing about the debut of the Axon 40 would be the introduction of a new version of under-display camera technology. Its predecessor had the UDC technology, but it wasn’t as grand as was expected to be.
An earlier leak already indicated we should expect the screen density over the camera to be very similar to the rest of the panel and we now get confirmation it will reach 400 ppi. This means the ZTE Axon 40 could take the under-display camera technology to the next level.
