ZTE just launched the Axon 40 Ultra in China and its starting price is $899. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra comes with a 16MP under-display selfie camera and it has a model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 16 + 1TB model of the Axon 40 Ultra is priced at $1,399.00 making it the cheapest 1TB phone of 2022.

The phone has support for multiple languages including Chinese and English. When setting up the smartphone for first-time use, you can decide which language to use. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra comes in four storage configurations starting from 8GB + 256GB. The smartphone boot MiFavor 12 is based on Android 12 OS. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and the Adreno 730 GPU.

The phone has support for Google Mobile Services (GMS) and you can access the Google Play store and use other Google-related services. You also get an OTA update and you can download apps and games from the Play store.

Its display size is 6.8-inches, uses an AMOLED panel, has FHD+ resolution, has support for a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. Axon 40 Ultra gives you access to full display because it makes use of an under-display camera system. The bezels of the phone are very slim and the screen is curved on both sides.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra features three 64MP cameras at the rear. It has a 64MP main camera with OIS, a 64MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS. All three 64MP cameras can shoot videos in 4k resolution. Then there is a 16MP selfie camera that is placed under the front screen.
