AMD Milan-X Price: The top SKU EPYC 7773X price is $8,800, it features 64 Zen3 cores with 128 threads. The EPYC 7573X price is $5,590 with 32-cores and 64 threads. Moving down, the EPYC 7473X price is $3,900 with 24-cores and 48 threads, while the entry EPYC 7373X with 16-Cores and 32 threads is priced at $4,185.
AMD’s EPYC 7003 “Milan-X” Pricing is headlined by the EPYC 7773X price at $8,800. AMD’s Milan-X CPUs are an upgraded version of its existing 3rd gen Milan-based processors, EPYC 7003. The processors come with 3D V-cache technology.
The headlined chip EPYC 7773X priced at $8,800 is the most expensive of the lineup. It has 64-core, 128-thread and 768MB of L3 cache. That means a two-socket server can now contain up to 1.5 gigabytes of L3 cache. The first oriented consumer processor to feature the 3D V-Cache technology is the AMD Ryzen 5800X3D.

What is 3D V-cache Technology?
What is 3D V-cache technology? The 3D V-cache technology is practically an expansion of the system’s RAM. Cache memory functions as backup storage for rapid and easy access to a part of storage.
While normal CPUs have a 2D cache with smaller cache memory, 3D technology has a larger cache capacity. Chips that use 3D cache technology, offers a substantial performance improvement over the existing chip just by making use of the additional cache memory.

Each of the four Milan-X models come with eight effective core compute die (CCD) to perform the full 768 MB of L3 cache, even with the minor SKUs. The company’s target market for the new Milan-X chips is clients who need to maximize per-core performance.
Several of AMD’s major server OEM partners are also slated to begin offering systems using the new chips, including Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo, and HPE. While some individuals will get their hands on some AMD V-cache enabled CPUs by next April when the Ryzen 5800X3D arrives.
