The upcoming Apple M3 chipsets will have more CPU and GPU cores than the M2 chips. According to a new leak, the Apple M3 Max chip features four more CPU cores and two more GPU cores than its M2 Max predecessor. That makes 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU cores.

While the base M3 model is said to bring 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores, while the Pro will remain the same by retaining the 12 and 18, respectively.
Apple M3 Max will have 48GB of shared memory and will employ a hybrid setup with 12 high-performance cores and 4 efficiency cores.
