Chipset, CPU, and GPU
The Asus Zenfone 9 rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This is a 5G chipset/SoC that is built on TSMC’s 4nm technology. It features an Octa-core CPU with a speed clocked at 3.19GHz, and the CPU is paired with the Adreno 730 GPU.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC inside the Asus Zenfone 9 has a peak download speed of about 10Gbps and a peak upload speed of about 5Gbps. It features fast UFS 3.1 storage and will be the first phone to use LPDDR5X RAM technology. The chipset/SoC is fast and also very power efficient.
