Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will be thinner than Galaxy Z Fold5 according to a new report. An X user by the name @Rjeytech shared a picture that compared the thickness of the two Samsung foldables just as you can see below.

For context, the Galaxy Z Fold5’s thickness measured 13.4mm but the new Galaxy Z Fold6 is expected to come with 11mm thickness. An impressive achievement I’d say.

Although that’s still way behind what Chinese foldable can offer. For example, the Honor Magic V2 is 10.1mm. That’s about 0.9mm slimmer than the Galaxy Z Fold6.

Samsung is yet to confirm this update but we expect the best to be announced in July. At the July unpacked event, the Galaxy Z Fold6 would be launched alongside the Z Flip6 and Galaxy Ring.
