Vivo V21E 5G and Vivo Y73: Two Vivo smartphones with the model numbers V2055 and V2059 is set to hit the market very soon. They appeared on the Google Play Console with the names Vivo V21e 5G and Vivo Y73 respectively.

One of the initial difference between these two Vivo phones is 5G. While the Vivo V21e 5G comes with the next gen 5G, Vivo Y73 is coming with LTE. Which means, the former will only be available in selected markets like Europe with commercial 5G.

With the details that surfaced on Google Play Console, we have some few specs of both phones. Although they look very similar in design and closely related in specs, there are some few differences.

Vivo V21E 5G and Vivo Y73 Preview Specs

Aside from 5G, the next difference between these devices is the chipset inside. The Vivo V21e 5G will pack the MediaTe Dimensity 700 SoC. This chipset is built on 5 nm architecture with an Octa-Core configuration. It has two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz.

Vivo V21E 5G and Vivo Y73

Vivo Y73, on the other hand, has a MediaTek Helio G90 chipset inside. Helio G90 is a gaming chipset that uses the old 12 nm architecture. It comes with two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.05GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz.

While Helio G90 is very good in gaming due to it having a more powerful GPU. The Dimensity 700 SoC with its 5G is better for everyday tasks and much more efficient.

Vivo V21E 5G and Vivo Y73

Other specs of the smartphones remain the same. They both have FHD+ displays, 8GB of RAM, and will run Android 11 out of the box. If the phones will ship outside the wall of China, then it will rock the FuntouchOS UI as skin software. But, if Vivo decides to keep them within the walls of China alone, then both phones will have OriginOS. UI as skin software.

There is waterdrop notch display design for both phones too with the volume button to the right. It also appears that the power button also doubles as the fingerprint scanner. If this is correct then the display of the device will likely be LCD panel.

And in display fingerprint with OLED panel will make the device a little more expensive. As of now, there is no official specs revealed by Vivo about these phones which means the information we have is limited. We’re expecting more details to be released soon.
