Huawei P30 Lite Review: first I have problem with the price of the smartphone. Huawei P30 Lite is not more than what IT actually is but the whole media is trying to paint it otherwise. Thus, Tech Arena24 is bringing you an honest review of the smartphone.
For the purpose of a detailed review, the info here will be broken into segments to cover all the relevant information.
Huawei P30 Lite Review: PRICE
First, let’s talk about the price of the smartphone. Huawei P30 Lite is selling in Nigeria at the price of 99,000 naira. That price is just too outrageous. The phone specs and features although aren’t entirely bad, but you can get something far better at a lower price.
Smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, OPPO A9 2020, Samsung Galaxy A50 etc. All offers more better specs at a lower price. So, who is Huawei trying to milk its pocket? Certainly not me.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
A dewdrop notch design isn’t bad. So Huawei P30 Lite took the design of its Pro versions. However, the smartphone failed to come with an OLED panel. An IPS LCD panel is something we see in every low midranger smartphone these days. Simply put, this is a thumbs down.
Moreover, even Tecno Phantom 9, Infinix Note 6 and Tecno Camon 12 Pro all featured an Amoled Touchscreen and yet they come at a cheaper price. Well, am just saying.
CAMERA
Camera is an important feature in smartphone these days. And Huawei P30 Lite lived up to my expectations. They delivered with a 48MP triple rear cameras and a 24MP front camera. It’s not just by the lens or camera figures. Rather the end product of the image is always what matters. Athough some features were missing, but it’s OK.
I must confess that am impressed by what I got from the Huawei P30 Lite cameras. So camera lovers, you can check this out.

SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
On this review, software and hardware can’t be ignored. Just like the usual, Huawei P30 Lite runs out of the box on Android 9 Pie. That’s pretty normal these days. And we can’t confirm when it will be upgrading to Android 10 yet but sooner or later I guess.
However, the hardware segment has a mix up reaction. The smartphone comes with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM which is applauded. But, the only problem here lies in the Chipset that powered the smartphone (Kirin 710F). Huawei would have done good by using a more powerful Chipset. At least the price is high enough for something better.
BATTERY
The most annoying thing about the Huawei P30 Lite is the battery life. 3340mAh capacity is too small for an average user. Not talk more of a heavy user. And besides, we all know the condition of electricity in the country. Thus I think Huawei could have done better but they failed to.

HUAWEI P30 LITE REVIEW: CONCLUSION
Huawei P30 Lite is overhyped and too costly. While we can say it’s a good average phone but not a complete package as it flopped in many areas. Thus, instead of me spending my 100k for it, I will rather go for a cheaper Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and OPPO A9 2020 with a better Specs. Huawei P30 Lite Review is just my honest opinion.
