The iPhone 15 Pro overheating issues are no longer hidden as Apple has come out to acknowledge it. At the time of writing this article, the tech company is actively working on a fix with an upcoming software update.

Reasons why iPhone 15 Pro is overheating
The iPhone 15 Pro Max overheating issues could be because of the thermal design. The iPhone 15 Pro series has a smaller heat dissipation area. More so, the new titanium frames also retain a higher heat conductivity than stainless steel.
However, Apple has promised a software fix. Below is a press release from Apple.
We have identified a few conditions which can cause iPhone to run warmer than expected. The device may feel warmer during the first few days after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity.
We have also found a bug in iOS 17 that is impacting some users and will be addressed in a software update. Another issue involves some recent updates to third-party apps that are causing them to overload the system. We’re working with these app developers on fixes that are in the process of rolling out.
