After taking some time to publish this M3 MacBook Pro (2023) review, I’ve concluded that it is the best 14-inch MacBook Pro for the money. This is because it checks all the boxes from performance to graphic prowess and long battery life. Here are seven factors to keep in mind.

Display- Best Budget PC For Video Consumption
The M3 MacBook Pro has a vivid screen. Placing it next to its predecessor, the new M3 MacBook Pro has a brighter display. On average, the M3 MacBook Pro has 550 nits of brightness compared to 450 nits on the MacBook Pro M2 Pro. Other Windows laptops are far behind too. Thus making the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro the right choice for video consumption.
Performance- Enough power for Photo Editing
The M3 chipset is built on a 3nm process. It has a fast CPU and powerful GPU- at least enough to handle any task you have at hand. It supersedes the M1 and M2 MacBooks. However, when compared to Windows laptops, it is slightly behind. By Windows laptops, I’m referring to the more expensive Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2, Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, etc.
But can the M3 MacBook Pro (2023) edit 4K Videos? Yes. Not only videos, it can edit photos without breaking a sweat. I mean this is a powerful 14-inch laptop with enough CPU and GPU cores to run whatever tasks. But if you are an intensive user, I’ll recommend you go for the M3 Pro or M3 Max models.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro M3 has limited ports. Available ports are Two Thunderbolt/USB 4 (USB-C) ports, an HDMI port, and an SDXC card slot. For wireless connections, it has Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3.
Lastly, there are six speakers with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos. The audio quality is great. The laptop also has a 3.5mm headphone jack port that supports high-impedance headphones.
