MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset: MediaTek has quietly unveiled the Dimensity 1300 5G chipset. The chip was manufactured on TSMC’s 6nm process. It has an octa-core processor with a flagship 1+3+4 CPU architecture. The OnePlus Nord 2T/3 could be among the first devices to use the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset.

The Dimensity 1300’s octa-core CPU features four premium Arm Cortex-A78 processors, including an ‘ultra-core’ operating up to 3GHz.
• 1X Ultra Core: Arm Cortex-A78 up to 3GHz
• 3X Super Cores: Arm Cortex-A78 up to 2.6GHz
• 4X Efficiency Cores: Arm Cortex-A55 up to 2GHz
The GPU is is a 9-core Arm Mali-G77 MC9. Which is capable of handling intensive gaming and video rendering.

In the areas of display, the chipset supports up to 168Hz displays at up to FullHD+ resolution (2520x1080px). And can be paired with up to 16GB of 4266Mbps LPDDR4x RAM. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 supports UFS 3.1 type storage. Additionally, it is an incredibly efficient chip design for extended everyday battery life.

The image signal processor (ISP) supports up to a 200MP camera and can record multi-person portrait mode video and 4K HDR video. According to MediaTek, there’s a new AI-camera enhancement included that helps to improve night shot photography and HDR capabilities for great image clarity.
