Meta Quest 3 price is $499 and it will become available this fall. It will readily be available for you to buy this summer. The Meta Quest 3 is of a higher resolution than the Quest 2.

Quest 3 is powered by a Snapdragon chipset which will deliver “more than twice the graphical performance as the previous generation Snapdragon GPU in Quest 2.

According to Meta, Quest 3 will support Quest 2’s catalog of over 500 VR games, apps, and experiences. But for those who could not afford the new Quest 3, Meta has stated that the Quest 2 will continue to be available 299.99 for the 128GB SKU and $349.99 for the 256GB SKU.
