Motorola Edge X30 is the last flagship smartphone from Motorola in 2021. Its also the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm 2021 flagship SoC. It comes with a 50MP triple rear camera and a 60MP front camera. This device also has a special edition that features under-display camera tech.

The chipset inside the Edge X30 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is the most powerful chipset you can see inside an Android phone in 2022. Its CPU speed is clocked at 3.0 GHz and it has a peak download speed of 10 Gbps.

Cameras

Motorola Edge X30 features a triple rear camera setup; a 50MP main camera with PADF and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 2MP depth sensor. Upfront the phone features a 60MP selfie camera placed in a punch hole at the top center. For the Moto Edge X30 special edition, the 60MP is under the screen.

Some of the camera features include; Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR, PDAF, OIS, optical zoom, HDR10+, and gyro-EIS. The rear camera can also record up to 4K video while the front camera can record 1080p videos.

Display and Build

Edge X30 features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. It has small bezels and there is a tiny punch hole placed at the top middle of the display. The special edition has no punch hole and gives you full screen.

Its build material is glass front, glass back and plastic frame. The display is flat and its protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Other display features are; 1B colors, 144Hz, HDR10+, 500 nits (typ), and 700 nits (HBM).

It comes with Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). It also comes with stereo speakers but has no space for headphone jack. The design of the device is water repellant.
