ZTE/Nubia is still in the game of making incredible flagship smartphones. The next premium phone from the company will be the Nubia Z50 Ultra and today, the front screen of the phone has appeared online giving us a hint about the design of the phone.
ZTE has been the pioneer of under-display camera technology and has perfected it over the years. This year, the leaked photo of the Nubia Z50 Ultra confirmed that the phone will also make use of the under-display camera technology – under-display camera tech is when the selfie camera is completely under the front screen.
The photo shared by Digital Chat Station also showed that the Z50 Ultra from Nubia will have a completely different design from the previous model. In fact, it seems the company is going with the design of the Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+.
For those unaware, the Red Magic series is the company’s gaming smartphone. The photo shared by DCS shows a design similar to the recently released Red Magic 8 Pro phones. It looks boxy and it has flat edges on the front screen and back panels.
So far, not much is known about the specifications of the incoming Nubia Z50 Ultra. Previous rumors have suggested that the phone will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED display that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it’s expected to have a 50MP main camera, pack a 4,800mAh battery with support for a 120W wired fast charging, and might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For now, we can only confirm the expected design and full-screen display. More updates about the Nubia Z50 Ultra will be available in the weeks and months ahead.
