Display and Design
The OnePlus Open has a main display of a 7.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 2268 x 2440px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate system. The outer display measures a 6.31-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 2484 x 1116px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support.
OnePlus Open has a flat-screen design with the inner screen having a punch hole in the top right corner. The outer screen has a punch hole in the top center. The rear design is awe-inspiring with a circular rear camera module on the top center and a flashlight on the top left corner of the rear panel.

Chipset and Performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G chipset powers the performance of the OnePlus Open. The chipset has a 3.2GHz Cortex-X3 prime core, two 2.8GHz Cortex-A715 performance cores, two 2.8GHz Cortex-A710 performance cores, and three 2.0GHz Cortex-A510 efficiency cores. The chipset features an ISP from Qualcomm and the Adreno 740 GPU.
The performance of the phone is really impressive as it can play graphics-intensive games without issues. The chipset in the OnePlus Open is paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDRR5x RAM and 512GB or 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

Software
The OnePlus Open boots Android 13 out of the box. It also has the ColorOS 13.2 skin software on top of the native Android 13 for its UI and UX. The smartphone will get at least three years of major software updates.
