OPPO is ready to release the successor to the OPO Reno 7. And for a while now, details of the OPPO Reno 8 has been in the rumor mill but thanks to a promotion poster, we now know the design of the phone.
From the poster spotted online, on the rear, the Reno 8 will come with a triple rear camera setup. The camera bump blends well with the back panel and two big camera sensors can be seen. Along with the big camera sensors, there is a small camera sensor and LED flash also.

The previously released Reno 7 Pro featured the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max chipset making it one of the best performing midrange phones of 2021. OPPO is also going down the MediaTek route as it’s rumored that the incoming Reno 8 will feature the Dimensity 1300 chipset.
According to the rumors, the Reno 8 will feature a 6.43-inches FHD+ display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel is said to be AMOLED and it will have a punch-hole on the top screen to house the selfie camera.

Talking about the camera, the primary camera of the Reno 8 is said to be a 50MP sensor and with the size of the sensor from the shared image, it appears to have an OIS feature. The primary camera will be supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 32MP front camera.
The storage options will be 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It will boot ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box and will be eligible for at least two years of major software updates.

If the rumors turn out to be true, the OPPO Reno 8 will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for an 80W fast charge solution. We expect to see more details in the coming weeks. So stay tuned.
