Display & Design

These two devices have similar design of a centered cutout selfie camera in the display. More so, the front display is protected by Corning gorilla glass 5 on both devices.

When it comes to display, both have 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate support. There is literally almost no difference from the design and display quality of both devices.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro retained the major camera system of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Both have similar 108 MP sensor as the  main camera, alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens but the differences starts from the third sensor. While the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 2MP telemacro to complete the triple camera system, the Redmi Note 10 Pro on the other hand has a 5MP macro and 2 MP depth sensor.

The front facing camera is 16MP on both devices and it has maximum of 1080p video recording. But the back camera can record Max of 4k resolution.

Overall, the camera system had no upgrade, you get similar set up and similar quality. But I’m mostly disappointed in the Redmi Note 11 Pro for not having an optical image stabilization (OIS) or a periscope telephoto lens.

Performance | Storage | RAM | 5G

Two things stand out in this segment. First, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is 5G enabled. Secondly, instead of a Snapdragon chip, it has a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Now let’s move on to the comparison.

Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset which is fabricated on a 6nm process. It is paired with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage.

On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (8nm) chipset, paired with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. It is not 5G supported which is the only turn off.

Overall, if 5G network is a thing that interest you, then the Redmi Note 11 Pro is the right choice to make.

Software

Both smartphones run Android 11 software out of the box and Xiaomi has promised software upgrade of at least 2 years.

Battery

The battery life of these two smartphones are 5,160 mAh capacity but the charging speeds are different. The Redmi Note 11 Pro supports 67W fast charge, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro gets 33W fast charge. So the Redmi Note 11 Pro charges faster.
