Is AT&T Unlimited data and Family Plan worth it?

It has been established that AT&T’s unlimited data and family plans are not the cheapest in the country. But, they sure are not also the most expensive either. Which brings them sitting right in the middle of the other two main carriers.

AT&T does not offer the most perks in all its plans. To be fair, T-Mobile and Verizon offer more perks. Plus, the 5G coverage of AT&T is not that large right now (but they can always work to improve). Now, what are the things you’d love about AT&T’s unlimited data?

One of the first things you’d love about AT&T is its strong coverage. With AT&T, you can enjoy strong coverage in most parts of the country including the countryside. You’ll also be getting nice data speeds.

You also get up to 50GB-100GB of fast data, unlimited texting from the U.S to more than 120 countries, and unlimited talk, text, and data in Mexico and Canada.

Quick Recap of AT&T Unlimited Data and Family Plans

AT&T might not offer the type of perks from T-Mobile or Verizon, but it sure has its own benefits.

  1. Strong coverage and data speed
  2. 5G access included in all plans
  3. 15GB and 30GB of mobile hotspot
  4. Unlimited texting from the U.S. to 120+ countries
  5. HBO Max™ included (only for the Unlimited Elite)
  6. Unlimited talk, text, and data in Mexico & Canada
  7. 50GB-100GB data cap
  8. Fairly priced

For now, AT&T still sits between T-Mobile and Verizon. But adding more perks to their unlimited data and family plans would be nice. For now, if it’s any consolation, the strong coverage and data speed can make up for those perks you’re missing.
