Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is faster than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with up to 19% speed. Qualcomm is expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset later this year. And rumors have suggested it will come in November 2022. Anyways, leaks have started surfacing, and based on the latest appearance on Geekbench, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is impressive.

The SD 8 Gen 2 Geekbench scores exceed that of its predecessor. Based on its appearance on the Geekbench website, the SD 8 Gen 2 has 8-cores. 1x core with a speed of 3.36GHz, 4x cores with a speed of 2.80GHz, and 3x cores with a speed of 2.02GHz.

And If we should go by the scores the CPU achieved on Geekbench, the processor scored 1,524 points in the single-core test and 4,597 points in the multi-core. When put into comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is faster than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 by 22% in single-core and 19% in multi-core tests.
