Tecno Phantom X2 5G Chipset: Tecno Mobile has been known for releasing mid-range and premium mid-range smartphones in Asia and Africa. But, it appears the company is bringing the heat this year as a new leak has confirmed that the company will be launching the Tecno Phantom X2 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
A new report shared by @Maii_HD on his latest YouTube Video confirms that Tecno will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship chipset in its upcoming Phantom X2 5G. And this will make the smartphone one of the best smartphones in the world.

For those who don’t know, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset is a 2022 flagship chipset released by MediaTek. It has the same performance as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and Samsung Exynos 2200. It is built on TSMC 4nm process technology and is very power efficient.
According to Maii_HD, he carried out a test that showed that the Phantom X2 5G has better single and multi-core scores in a Geekbench test carried out between the device and the Exynos version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Xiaomi 12 that featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Although the tipster is yet to release any live photos and specs of the phone, he said the Phantom X2 5G will come with a curved display and will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack port. This means the phone could have some level of water and dustproof and using a flagship chipset means a better ISP and possibly better camera sensors.
