Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 update came with lots of bugs that needs to be fixed. The MIUI 12 upgrade came last year bringing new features and visual changes over MIUI 11. But is has numerous issues involving stability and performance. This is why the company pushed series of updates to fix these bugs.
At the start of 2021, Xiaomi revealed the MIUI 12.5 as an update for the MIUI 12. News about the release of MIUI 13 surfaced earlier this year but an enhanced MIUI 12.5 has been released instead.

The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update was not restricted to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. Other Redmi phones in the mid-range segment also got the update. But, it seems the company won’t be pushing that update to some Redmi smartphones.
