Xiaomi Pad 6 Rear Design Leak: Xiaomi has been silently making some of the best affordable premium tablets and the company is planning to add to its collection. It seems the Chinese phone maker is getting set to launch a new tablet device in the coming months. This new tablet will be the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 5 and thus might be called the Xiaomi Pad 6.

A new leak has shown part of the rear design of the Xiaomi Pad 6. If the leak is to be believed, the Xiaomi pad 6 will have the same rear module as the Xiaomi 12 Pro. But we can’t confirm if the device will use the same camera sensor as the Xiaomi 12 Pro (we highly doubt that).

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Lineup

If we go by previous tablets released by Xiaomi, we can safely say the Xiaomi Pad 6 will come in more than one model. There’ll likely be a Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro models. Then there’ll be a 4G LTE model and a Wi-Fi-only model with different storage options to choose from.

As per the design leak, the Xiaomi Pad 6 camera appears to thus host the primary camera module at the top. It also has second and third camera units, details of which are not known yet. Lastly, there is an LED flash in the rear camera module. Xiaomi has always used the same design for all its tablets in time past and we expect the same this year too.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Specs (Expected)

We expect the Xiaomi Pad 6 to come with a triple rear camera setup of 50MP + 5MP + 2MP and an 8MP front camera. It’ll come with an 11-inch or 12-inch 2K AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10.

The performance of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC while the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc. Battery size is expected to be above 8,000mAh and wired fast charging could be up to 120W.

The devices are expected to launch in a few months’ time and will boot MIUI 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Other expected specifications include a fingerprint scanner (side-mounted), NFC, USB Type-C, GPS, etc.
