Xiaomi has had problems with its MIUI skin software. The MIUI 12 update came with lots of bugs that the company spent time rolling out series of updates to fix. The company finally released MIUI 13 in a launch event in China late year which is a better and more software.
Last year, the company also shared the schedule for MIUI 13 update for Chinese and global Xiaomi phones. But, the company said nothing about bringing the update to phones in one of its biggest market, India. At least until now.

Manu Kumar Jain of Xiaomi has shared details of when users of Xiaomi in India should expect to get the MIUI 13 update in their Xiaomi phones. Jan shared an image on Twitter revealing when Xiaomi will start rolling out MIUI 13 update to phones in India.
According to the tweet, the following Xiaomi and Redmi phones will be getting MIUI 13 update in India in the first quarter of 2022:
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
- Xioami Mi 11X Pro
- Xiaomi 11T Pro
- Mi 11X
- Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G
- Mi 11 Lite
- Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Redmi Note 10
- Redmi 10 Prime

If you live in India and own any of the phones above, you should receive the MIUI 13 update in the coming months. If your phone is not on this list, don’t worry, Xiaomi has assured that it will release MIUI 13 to more of its India devices soon. When the company shares an update, we’ll let you know.
