Apple’s ProMotion display technology was first seen on the ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max in September 2021. ProMotion allows the display to automatically refresh between 10Hz – 120Hz depending on the type of content on the screen. This helps to save battery life when the iPhone is not in need of the higher 120Hz.
