The Apple Airpods Pro 2 will feature the new H2 chip from Apple. This new chip is said to feature a new low distortion and offer more detail and clarity. It also supports spatial audio and this improves the sound quality. Users on Apple iOS 16 can now also personalize the spatial audio to suit their needs.

According to Apple, the new H2 chip makes it possible for the 2022 Airpods Pro to have better noise cancellation. Apple said the Airpods Pro 2 is 2x better when it comes to noise cancellation (compared to its predecessor).
Other audio features of the device include a new passive noise feature, a new transparency mode, and an adaptive transparency mode. In addition to the play, pause, there is a new touch sensor. The battery of the new Airpods Pro 2 is expected to give users 6 hours of listening time and 30 hours of listening with the case.
