The new Apple iMac with M1 chip price starts at $1,299 (₦495,000). And it will be available in seven different colors: yellow, green, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.
One of the most talk about feature on the new iMac is the Apple M1 chipset support. Initially, the M1 chipset by Apple was only restricted to MacBooks and the Mac mini. But not anymore as the new iMac comes with the Apple-designed silicon- M1 chip. It means an improved overall performance.
There are other lots of upgrade aside from the M1 chip. For example, the webcam quality has been upgraded to 1080p. And there are now six built-in speakers that supports spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, and a three-mic array of “studio quality”.

The latest iMac with M1 Chip has 11.5 mm thickness and the screen is 24″-inch with 4.5K Retina Display. It has 11.3 million pixels with a brightness level that can peak as high as 500 nits.
Comparing the new Apple iMac 24″ computer to the old 21.5″ iMac, this new one is faster and better. Thanks to the M1 chipset that enables up to 85% faster CPU performance and up to 50% GPU increase in performance.
Moreover, every of the new Apple iMac has at least two Thunderbolt ports and Wi-Fi 6. However, the pricy variant offers two additional USB-C ports and also has a 1Gbps Ethernet port.

While the variant with 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU price goes for $1,499. The high-end variant is available in all seven colors for buyers (yellow, green, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver).
• Apple iMac M1 chip with 8-core CPU and 7-core GPU has 8GB of RAM + 256GB SSD but can also be upgraded to 512GB or 1TB of storage.
• While Apple iMac M1 chip with 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU has base 8GB of RAM + 256GB SSD and gets optional 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage.
The new Apple iMac with M1 Chip will be available for pre-order on April 30, and will begin shipping to customers in the second half of May.
