After the release of Apple iOS 15.4, many iPhone users noticed battery drain issues on their Apple iPhones. Today, Apple has released an iOS 15.4.1 update to fix the battery drain issues on iPhones running iOS 15.4.
The new iOS 15.4.1 update is available for download for free on all eligible iPhones. You can download the new software update on your iPhone over the air in the Settings app. All you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update.

The release notes from Apple states that the new update fixes an issue that might have caused the battery of the iPhone to drain more quickly than expected after updating to iOS 15.4. Also included in the new update is a fix for Made for iPhone hearing devices and Braille devices.
This update includes the following bug fixes for your iPhone:
A battery may drain more quickly than expected after updating to iOS 15.4
Braille devices may become unresponsive while navigating text or displaying an alert
Made for iPhone hearing devices may lose connection within some third-party apps.

The iOS 15.4.1 update fixes an AppleAVD issue that could allow an application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. According to Apple, this exploit may have been actively exploited, hence the company encourages all users to download and install the new update as soon as possible.
As earlier stated, the download of the new update is free and you can do it from your iPhone setting. Just go to Settings > General > Software Update.
