Display
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support for the very first time in an iPhone. The brightness level of the screen can max up to 1200 nits. And being a flagship device, it comes with IP68 water and dust resistant rating. The front notch is now smaller by 20%.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra’s display is slightly bigger. It brings 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate support. The brightness level on the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also higher because at peak it max up to 1500 nits. Also, being a flagship smartphone it comes with IP68 water and dust resistant as well.
Overall, the display of both smartphones are at par. You can feel the smoothness on both screen as they support the 120Hz refresh rate. And these two smartphones are also durable.
Camera
The triple camera setup of the iPhone 13 Pro Max remains 12MP resolution. However, the Pixel size got almost 2x bigger than what is on the iPhone 12 Pro. For emphasis sake here is what we mean. The main camera sensor of the latest iPhone 13 Pro has an impressive pixel size of 1.9µm and a brighter aperture of f/1.5. For comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro had 1.7µm pixels and a f/1.6 lens.
That means, the bigger pixel size and a brighter aperture will help in low light condition. Thus, the new iPhone 13 Pro model can capture up to 2.2x more light resulting in better imaging quality. Also there is super night mode on all the camera lense.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on the other hand, brings 108MP OIS primary camera, supported by a 10MP 3x tele lens, another 10MP for 10x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The rear cameras all have stabilization and the primary camera is capable of shooting video in 8k resolution. Moreso, when it comes to zooming power, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is great.
When it comes to selfie game, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is better. In fact, the photography and videography experience in both smartphones is top notch. You can go for anyone when it comes to the cameras.
