Since the introduction of the Apple iPhone SE back in 2017, it has become quite popular. Apple released iPhone SE 2 last year and now it’s set to release the third generation “iPhone SE 3” in the first quarter of 2022 (Q1 2022).

This is the first we’re hearing about a possible launch time frame for this Apple smartphone. And along with its, some rumoured specs has also surfaced that we’ll be sharing with you guys.

A report from Digitimes said that Apple might be planning to release a new iPhone SE 3 in Q1 of 2022. And this will be good news for Apple users looking to buy more affordable iPhone. But it seems the new iPhone SE will rock the Apple A14 Bionic chip – same chip used in the iPhone 12 series.

From the report, it’s also stated that the incoming iPhone SE 3 might support 5G. Earlier, Apple analyst Ming-Ch Kuo had said Apple’s new affordable iPhone would feature 5G along with a power processor. And he also said a new iPhone SE might debut in first half of 2022.

So far, rumors have it that the incoming iPhone SE 3 will be Apple’s most affordable 5G iPhone yet. It’s even said that it will be cheaper than the iPhone 12 mini and this means the device might be priced below $699.

Well, this will be good for the company as aggressive pricing is one reason why Xiaomi dethroned Apple and become the second largest smartphone company of 2021.

The design of the iPhones SE 2022 is said to be same as that of the iPhone SE 2. Other rumoured feature of the device include: 4.7-inch LCD display, 3,200mAh battery, A14 Bionic chip etc.
