Samsung has started rolling out Android 12 based on OneUI 4.0 to its best-selling foldable smartphones. There were reports from different regions about the many bugs that plagued the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 when Android 12 was installed.
It seems Samsung has fixed these issues and has started rolling out the Android 12 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 more widely. Users of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 in the US can now install Android 12. Verizon is rolling out OneUIS 4.0 to both foldable phones.

The stable Android 12 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has the model firmware version F926USQS1BUL6 in the US. And the firmware version for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US is F711USQS2BUL6. Both update includes the security patch for December that fix known bugs in both phones.
All Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users on Verizon network in the US can check for this new update by going to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. User of other US carriers can expect to get the update in the foldable smartphones soon.

OneUI 4.0 is deisgned with the latest Material You Android 12 feature in mind. It features, a new UI design, featuring newer widgets, more sophisticated widget designs, improved Dark Mode and AoD. Other features are: improved privacy and security, featuring quick setting toggles and privacy indicators for camera and microphone usage.
