Samsung broke records with the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in 2021. This foldable smartphones were sweet heart in many regions even in Europe. The company did make some sacrifices to make this a reality.
First, the company cancelled the release of the Galaxy Note lineup in 2021. Then Samsung also delayed the release of the Galaxy S21 FE to make sure parts were available for the production of Samsung foldable phones in 2021.

Judging by the reception and sales volume of both devices, it’s fair to conclude that the strategy paid off. To cap it all, the foldable phones are among the Best Samsung Galaxy Phones 2021. But, it seems the incoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be even more impressive.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 to feature better Under-Display Camera Tech
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the first foldable smartphone that is rated IPX7 water resistance. It’s also the first Samsung foldable phone with support for S PEN. This device is also the first Samsung smartphone to feature the UDC tech or Under-Display Camera tech.

New report from South Korea indicates that the incoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 will bring better display and better UDC. The report says that equipment for manufacturing OLED panels with Samsung’s second-gen UDC technology is already being used. A small number of display panel test samples have also been made.
The new UDC technology been use will allow Samsung to use better sensors in the Z Fold 4. This will make the UDC technology to make it appear even more seamless in the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

But, it will follow same working principle of hiding the camera beneath the screen of the device. When the camera is not in use, users will have access to the full screen. This new UDC tech will also bring about improve selfie photos compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
