Google have this history of releasing a “Pixel-a series” along with its flagship Google Pixel Phones. And just a month after the release of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, a new report is suggesting that Google will release a Pixel 6a smartphone.

The guys over at 91Mobiles has shared some 3D renders of the device. Showcasing its design and revealing some key specs of the Pixel 6a (rumored specs).

Google Pixel 6a specs (rumored)

The Pixel 6a will be a more budget Pixel 6 smartphones just like the other Pixel phones in the “a series”. From the renders, the device look very similar to the Pixel 6 series in design. It’s said to features a 6.2-inch OLED display.

According to the new report, the incoming Pixel 6a also has similar rear camera module as the Pixel 6. This hints that it might be coming with more than one rear camera. And this is a good upgrade over the Pixel 5a with just a single camera.

Both the power button and volume rocker is located at the right side of the device. The phone has a USB Type-C port and two speaker grilles at the bottom. On the left, it has a SIM-card tray. No button is seen on the left side from the renders.

Google Pixel 6a

The incoming Pixel 6a is expected to be a mid-range smartphones. And this means it might not features the Google Tensor chip but maybe a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. It’s expected to run Android 12 out of the box and have support for 3 years software updates.
