Since its break-up with Huawei, Honor has done pretty well for itself. The company launched Honor 50 and Honor 60 series, which are identically good phones. It also built its own automated phone manufacturing factory in China. And its mobile phones now have access to use Google Mobile Services (GMS) and Play Store.
Today, Honor has confirmed that it’ll be releasing a foldable phone called Magic V soon. This is not coming as a total surprise as we’ve been hearing rumors of the Honor Magic series for a while now.

So far, there are no official details about this Honor Magic V foldable smartphone but we have some predictions. Most likely, it’ll feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip inside. Might come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage if the company wish to keep it affordable.
From the teaser post on Weibo, it’ll take same folding style as the OPPO Find N and Galaxy Z Fold 3. But, we can’t confirm if it’ll go with the tall build of the Samsung foldable or fat build of the OPPO foldable.

In any case, if the Magic V from Honor can manage to have the awesome software experience of the Z Fold 3 and the price of the Find N, then it might get a footing in the foldable market.
Samsung is still the major player in the foldable market and its good that the likes of OPPO, Xiaomi and now Honor is bringing the heat.
