Since its departure Huawei, this is the first time Honor is opening its own automated manufacturing industry park. And this new milestone for the company is aimed at improving the quality and quantity of production of the company.
Due to the resemblance of its devices with that of Huawei, most critics have said that Honor is still closely related to its previous mother company. Well, if you look at the resemblance of the Honor 50 and Huawei Nova 9 it’s very easy to draw that conclusion.

But, maybe the products from Honor will start to look different with this new automated manufacturing complex. According to reports, the new Honor automated manufacturing complex is located in Shenzhen, China. And it’s expected to produce Honor’s major products with a production speed of about 126 units every hour.

From estimate, about 75% of the production process is automated in the production facility. This new complex is also said to handle most of the performance issues including product certification and quality control. In addition, Honor’s AI and hardware development teams will also be housed in this facility.
Most of the smartphone assembly process is automated in this new Honor automated manufacturing facility. The company is using some 600 quality metrics for the manufacture of smartphones in the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.

A statement issued by Honor’s CEO, George Zhao says, that the new manufacturing industry park is a key part of its pursuit of delivering a widening array of premium smartphones of the highest quality.
And if Honor really hope to compete in the premium smartphone brand, the company needs its own space to think, innovate and create.
This proves once again that automation of workflows maximizes the efficiency of the team and business. The ability to automate routine tasks, accelerate data collection and, as a result, improve document processing is an indicator of quality.
