Huawei is set to unveil a new foldable device called P50 Pocket on December 23. The form factor of the Huawei P50 Pocket will be similar to that of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Motorola Razr. Maybe we are now gradually entering the era of clamshell vertical foldable devices fully – just maybe.

Earlier on in summer, Huawei launched the P50 and P50 Pro smartphones in China but now a third, in a clamshell vertical fold form factor might be joining the P50 family according to the latest online gists.

At the moment there are limited details about the Huawei P50 Pocket foldable phone. But going by previous renders by LETSGODIGITAL, thefoldable device is expected to have big cover display and two vertical cameras.

It will be a direct rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Motorola Razr. However, we’re yet to know if the P50 Pocket will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset or a Kirin 9000 SoC.
