Infinix Zero 8 is one of Infinix flagship device. Zero 8 is one of Infinix most decorated smartphones and it looks beautiful with its diamond shape quad rear camera. It was released with Android 10 installed, comes with, dual selfie camera, side mounted fingerprint, 4500mAh battery and cost about $300, 117,000 Naira.

To begin, some tech analyst will say this phone is a flagship smartphone. Well, it’s not a flagship smartphone but a premium mid-range smartphone that is very affordable. The fact that it’s very affordable is what makes the Infinix Zero 8 very interesting.
Infinix Zero 8: Design, Display and Build
This is the best Infinix phone yet and they are not joking. The phone comes with Glass front, plastic back and plastic frame. It have a curved rectangular punch hole to the left of the screen that houses two selfie cameras.
Infinix Zero 8 is protected by a gorilla glass screen 3. It’s screen size is about 6.9 inches with a resolution of about 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~399 ppi density). It’s display type is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with small bezels.
Its display comes with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate with 120Hz touch sampling. A feature that even the more expensive phones don’t have.
Infinix Zero 8: Camera
Infinix Zero 8 comes with a quad rear camera. There is a 64MP wide main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. We have not seen an infinix phone with telephoto, and sorry to say but the Zero 8 would not break the jinx. Seems we have to wait for Infinix Zero 9 or Zero 10.

You hardly make use of the 2MP macro lense. If you like taking photos of small object such as insects it might be useful to you. Else, the macro camera is just a luxury that is useless in the phone.
Up front, there is a dual selfie camera placed in a punch hole to the left. There is 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.
The camera features of the phones includes; gyro-EIS, ultra night mode, 960fps slow motion and steady video. These features are pretty cool and we know you’d like to try them out.

The chipset of the Infinix Zero 8 is the MediaTek Helio G90T. This chipset from MediaTek is a gaming chipset and it is very good for gaming and some middle level graphics work.
It’s not a 5G chipset and given the current status of 5G network in most countries where Infinix have large market share, the 5G feature is really no much of an issue.

Infinix Zero 8 runs Android 10 out of the box. It also come with Infinix latest skin software, XOS 6. Features like dark mode and wireless connection with laptop to watch movies are all available.

Infinix Zero 8: RAM and Internal Storage
Infinix Zero 8 comes with 8GB RAM and 125GB Internal Storage. There is also space from external storage via microSD card.
Infinix Zero 8: Sensor and Battery
The phone come with sensors for security. There is a functional Google Assistant that will perform pretty good task using your voice. Fingerprint sensor is side mounted and a FaceID protection also available for additional security.
In it’s battery, it is powered by a 4500mAh battery. There is also 33W fast charge feature enabled. No wireless charge or reverse charge feature enabled.
The plastic back means there won’t be a wireless charge feature. Which would have been nice but will also make the phone more expensive.
