Infinix ZERO ULTRA vs Samsung Galaxy A73 5G: Display and Design
The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 6.8-inches display which is slightly bigger than the 6.7-inches display of the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. The displays of both smartphones have support for a 120Hz refresh rate and are AMOLED panels. However, the display of the Infinix Zero Ultra is slightly curved while that of the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is flat.
On the front, both phones have a single punch hole on the top screen but the bezels around the screen of the Infinix Zero Ultra are thinner because it has a curved screen. On the rear, both phones have a camera module that houses the rear camera sensors. That of the Galaxy A73 5G has four cameras while the Zero Ultra has three cameras.

The performance of the Infinix Zero Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset while that of the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset. Both chipsets have an Octa-core processor but the Snapdragon 778G 5G (chipset used in the Galaxy A73 5G) has faster CPU cores and a more powerful GPU than the Dimensity 920 5G chip (chipset used in the Infinix Zero Ultra).
The chipsets on both smartphones shave support for 5G connectivity and this means both phone shave support for 5G network bands. In the areas of gaming and graphics rendering, the Galaxy A73 5G will perform slightly better than the Infinix Zero Ultra. The reason why is that, the Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset has four small power-efficiency cores that help sustain its performance. Aside from that, the performance of both chipsets is pretty much the same.
The Infinix Zero Ultra comes with 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage while the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of storage. Both smartphones have space for storage expansion via a MicroSD card slot (the Galaxy A73 5G uses a shared SIM card slot for its microSD card).

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G boots OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box and will get four years of major software updates and five years of monthly security patches. You can download and install apps from Google Play Store on both phones.
Both smartphones have support for various features such as Fingerprint (under display, optical), NFC, GPS, Radio, A-GPS, Bluetooth, wired fast charging, etc. None of these phones have space for a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It’s not easy to tell which is better between the Infinix Zero Ultra and Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. Both phones offer the same display quality (users have to choose between a curved and flat display here) and the level of performance. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has more camera sensors which are good but then the Infinix Zero Ultra has a 200MP sensor that is like the jack of all trades.
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has a bigger 5,000mAh battery which lasts longer but the 4,500mAh battery of the Infinix Zero Ultra has support for a 180W wired fast charge that can easily top the battery in no time. However, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is IP67 dust/water resistant (up to 1m for 30 mins) and has a longer software update policy. These are the two areas where the Infinix Zero Ultra is found wanting and if you need a longer software update and a water and dustproof phone, the Galaxy A73 5G is definitely the phone you should buy here.
