Vivo Phones to get Android 12: Now that Google has released the Android 12, the race for smartphone makers to upgrade their devices to the latest Android OS has just began. And Vivo is among the first phone makers to start rolling out this Android OS update to its smartphones.

Vivo has released its rollout schedule for 31 smartphones under S, V, X, and Y series. Starting November 2021 to April 2022, the company will start rolling out the latest Android OS based on the beta version of the Funtouch OS 12. The Vivo X70 Pro+ will be the first Vivo smartphone to receive this upgrade.

These updates are beta and might come with some bugs that will be fixed with updates along the line. Vivo is yet to bring out a schedule for rolling out the stable update for all these smartphones.

According to the report, this timeline of Android 12 beta update is specific to India and other region might get the update on a different time. So, if you live outside India, you might get the update on a different date.
